Apart from the great ACPA meeting, highlight of the day was meeting with this super hero- Grace Peters.
She said, ‘ your documentary ‘Smile Pinki’ gave me strength and hope. I have seen it umpteen times since my childhood.It was my dream to meet you some day”.
And we met today. Grace was born with cleft, suffered as a child, went through surgical procedures, endured all pain and came up stronger with a resolve that, ‘I shall work for cleft children’. She joined Smile Train! ..And is now helping cleft children globally .
It is unbelievable how somebody would know you, draw strength from your work and can get inspired by you- in a different continent.
I felt very affectionate towards her.
